Well Friday’s Finally Here My Friends. It’s been an emotional and life-changing week. So many emotions and all, unfortunately, valid. As life continues to move forward, my hope is that it will be anything but routine and that we will all be changed for the better… but what a price to pay. George Floyd’s family lost a precious loved one and that cannot be changed. But this time I feel maybe, hopefully, that as they mourn, our nation mourns with them. Sincerely and deeply, sharing their grief and grieving the pain so many have carried for so many years. We need God like never before. Only He can heal scars that have lingered too long and open hearts to love others just as He loves. Yes, I do believe there is hope for a better day but hope alone won’t get us there. One step at a time. One day at a time. We must begin with no preconceived notions, learning and loving until we find ourselves Completely COLOR-BLIND. I hope you will commit to join me and my family as we pray for peace for the Floyd family and for complete healing and equality for all people in our Nation.
