Y’all I am so excited about today’s blog! 

 

I was first introduced to this fabulous brand back in June of this year on my California trip for a meet-up with many of my Fierce 50 Sisters.   

 

 

 

French Kande graciously hosted a brunch for the ladies at their beautiful design studio in El Segundo, California.  It was a gorgeous spread and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone!! 

 

Kande Hall, Founder and Designer, introduced herself and told us her story.   I immediately  liked her – she was kind, humble and oh-so-passionate! 

As she spoke, I could almost see her wandering the streets of Paris- completely unaware of how the interesting medallions she’d just purchased as keepsakes would completely change the direction of her life.  (Read All About It Here!) 

 

 

 

 As our morning brunch turned into afternoon munches, Kande was so kind as she gifted each of us one of her gorgeous designs and I knew immediately I was just head-over-heels in love with this brand! 

This is my fabulous bracelet and each time I slip it on (which is often, I think I wear it every other day!)  I am reminded of her fabulous studio and the time I spent there with women who I knew so little about but grew to love so quickly.     

 

 

 

 After returning home, French Kande reached out to ask if I would be open to doing a post styling some of their gorgeous pieces.  Of course, I was immediately All In!   

Y’all know I I love jewelry!  And one thing’s for sure,  I have always had a special place in my heart for pearls of any kind and coin/medallion pieces – so to say I adore this line of jewelry is SUCH the understatement!

 This is the story of my gorgeous MERCIER piece!

MERCIER ~ Founded in 1858 and based in the Epernay region of Champagne, the house produces both vintage and non-vintage cuvee (blends). Mercier owned the original rights to the name Dom Perignon, but gave the brand to Moet et Chandon in 1927 for a wedding between the two families.

I love that many of Kande’s designs – like this one – are a combination of sterling silver and brass plate which means I can mix metals!   This opens the door to SO many styling options – each design can be worn as a stand alone statement piece  or layered with my other favorites!
